Meet Justin Patterson!

Hey there! I am a Durham Region lifestyle and wedding photographer with seven years of experience across various photography areas, including engagement, maternity, couples, gender reveals, family portraits, and more. While I work in many styles, my true passion is weddings; there’s something uniquely captivating about them that consistently draws my eye.

My journey in photography began when my parents gifted me a camera. Capturing nature in full bloom quickly became a passion, as I found joy in the vivid colors and quiet beauty all around me. Since then, my camera has been a constant companion, and I rarely venture out without it.

Throughout my career, I have taken thousands of photos spanning portraits, engagements, families, and scenic landscapes. Notably, I won first place in the Durham Winter Scenery Photo of the Year contest, competing against 600 entries. My work has also been featured on sites such as Discover Ontario, Kawartha Now, and Peterborough Canada.

On a personal note, I am a proud father to two daughters — including an amazing three-year-old and a nine-month-old — who mean the world to me.
